Located on the outskirts of Agadir, in Morocco, Anza is faced with failing residential developments, coastal sprawl and industrial decay.
Using a local treasure, the argan tree, this project encourages economic growth, scientific and environmental research as well as social interaction throughout the local community.
Various forms of urban development respond to local habits and spontaneous dynamics: these will used to create Anza’s urban archipelago wile, nearby, an agronomic institute will center its research and education around the argan tree as well as water management issues and new agricultural practices.
